New Video: Bikes 4 Life 1,000+ Bike Pack Weekend

Check out our new video – it’s super cool and gives you a little insight into Bikes 4 Life and how we do it in Melbourne!

Volunteers in Melbourne  packed over 1,000 bicycles for projects in Northern Uganda and Pakistan for our new 2018 projects! The bikes have just arrived Pakistan this week, to be distributed to those in need by our new partners at The Akram Foundation.

The bikes for Uganda are being shipped in the coming weeks and will be a part of our ongoing work in the north of the country, supporting women, children and victims of war with not only bike donations but training and education with our local partner Union of Hope, and other affiliated organisations.

Our Ugandan Project manager from Melbourne will be on the ground yet again for two months of training people in the community. She’ll be helping to expand our workshop program in the north, empowering and educating the community while learning more about the country and what else we can do to support the devastated region that is slowly  recovering from a brutal 20 year war, and one of the worlds largest and longest internal displacements of a people.
